Marvel's Wolverine Won't Be Delayed by GTA 6's Fall Release

Insomniac Games doesn't appear ready to flinch, confirming that Marvel's Wolverine will stick to its original release schedule despite the looming presence of GTA 6's new launch window. The studio took to social media to reiterate that the game is still slated for Fall 2026.

Back in late September, the first official gameplay footage for Marvel's Wolverine was unveiled during a State of Play presentation. The trailer gave fans a look at various locations, several key characters, and a glimpse of the combat system. Insomniac also released new screenshots and the official key art for the title.
Industry analysts suggest that Grand Theft Auto 6 moving into the fall slot will create significant headaches for many publishers, as that season is traditionally reserved for the biggest AAA releases. Reputable journalist and insider Tom Henderson recently claimed on his podcast that GTA 6's in-game content is already 100% complete, meaning the project currently only requires final optimization and polish.
