Global Cloudflare Outage Causes Widespread Internet Disruptions

Today, websites and online services around the world experienced massive outages due to a sudden technical failure at Cloudflare, one of the world’s largest hosting and network providers.
The issues affected a huge number of platforms, including FACEIT, League of Legends, X (Twitter), ChatGPT, Spotify, and several other popular services. Users reported difficulties loading web pages, unstable app performance, and complete inaccessibility of some resources.
According to monitoring platforms, the outage peaked around midday, with many sites simultaneously experiencing increased response times or losing the ability to connect to servers entirely. Cloudflare representatives have confirmed the issue and are currently working to resolve it.
Cloudflare is one of the world’s leading network infrastructure providers, offering security, speed, and stability for websites. The company serves millions of sites—from small blogs to major global services. Its main role is to act as a “buffer” between users and website servers. A huge share of global internet traffic passes through Cloudflare’s networks, which means any technical problems on their end can instantly impact countless services worldwide.
It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time access to popular sites has been disrupted. Previously, platforms like Steam, PSN, and other gaming services experienced outages due to a DDoS attack.
