Slyders, a Shooter Blending Vampire Survivors and Serious Sam, Launches on Steam

The single-player roguelike shooter Slyders, described as a blend of Vampire Survivors and Serious Sam, has launched on Steam.

Slyders takes place on floating islands that have been attacked by a demon army. The game's protagonist is the fearless fox Arex, who, along with two companions—a supersonic combat turtle and a small bear with a jetpack—must fend off the demonic invaders. In Slyders, players navigate through environments, fight off waves of enemies, battle bosses, upgrade active and passive abilities, enhance weapons, summon allies, deploy turrets, and collect various power-ups.

Recently, the pirate shooter DAVY x JONES received a major update, Kraken Hunt, which introduced ship battles and revamped the combat system. Prior to that, the system requirements and a new trailer for the shooter Ferocious, set on a dinosaur-filled island, were revealed.
