Doom-Inspired Roguelike Shooter Afterblast Enters Early Access on Steam
Vladislav Nikolaev
A dynamic roguelike shooter Afterblast, reminiscent of the Doom series, has launched into Steam Early Access. The game is available with a 10% discount until December 8.
Afterblast tells the story of a nameless hero who gained the gift of immortality and journeyed into the Evil God's Realm to save their home planet from monsters. The game features two modes. In the first, the protagonist delves into the planet's depths to find and defeat the Evil God. The second mode involves fighting on large open maps, attempting to halt an enemy invasion. During runs, players must seek out powerful weapons with unique abilities, magical chests containing various upgrades, and small companions to aid the hero in battle.
The current version offers players 3 dungeons, 6 open maps, and 6 large bosses. In the future, the shooter will receive new maps, weapons, enemies, abilities, an artifact system, and more.
