Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Gets Free No Man's Land Update and New Story Campaign

The co-op first-person shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has just received a massive free expansion titled 'No Man's Land.' In addition, the developers have also launched a paid DLC that introduces a brand-new class.
This latest update injects a brand-new story campaign and an entirely new operation into the game, alongside numerous quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. The new campaign, aptly named "The Road to No Man's Land," is a cohesive narrative told across three distinct missions. Meanwhile, the "No Man's Land" operation challenges players to escort Knight-Commander Dragor and his battle tank through treacherous territory to a forsaken fortress, now a stronghold for a cunning cult. For a comprehensive breakdown of all the new additions and changes, you can check out the full patch notes here.
Regarding the paid DLC, it ushers in a brand-new playable class: the Hive Scum. Described by the developers as a criminal born and bred in Tertium, the Hive Scum may lack formal combat training, but a lifetime surviving the streets has forged them into a lethal force. In combat, they leverage unorthodox weapons, toxins, and sly tactics to gain an edge. This premium add-on also comes with a complete outfit and headwear for the new class, a unique hairstyle, a set of tattoos, and six weapon skins.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide initially hit PC via Steam in 2022, made its way to Xbox Series X/S in 2023, and finally became available on PlayStation 5 in 2024.
In related news, it was previously announced that developer Fatshark currently has no plans for a Warhammer: Vermintide 3, focusing instead on continued updates for its existing titles.
