Fans of Red Dead Redemption complained about problems with the launch of the updated version of the game

After the recent release of the updated Red Dead Redemption, fans complained that they could not upgrade from the Xbox 360 version of the game to the Series X|S version for free. Rockstar Games has already promised to solve the problem.
The update released by Rockstar Games was supposed to allow owners of the old digital version of the game to get a new one for free. Instead, when visiting the store's page, users only noticed an offer to buy the game again.
Representatives of Rockstar Games have already responded to the complaints. The studio assured that they are working on finding solutions.
«We are aware of an issue where Xbox players are unable to upgrade their digital Xbox 360 version of Red Dead Redemption to the Xbox Series X|S version and are working with Microsoft to resolve it. Thank you for your patience».
Earlier a video appeared comparing the graphics of the updated version of Red Dead Redemption on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2. The author showed how textures, shadows, resolution, level of detail, drawing range, loading screens and frame rate differ.
On the eve of the release of the cowboy action also took place on Google Play and the App Store. The game costs $40 (about 3,100 rubles).
