After the success of the Fallout series, a film adaptation of another popular Bethesda project, The Elder Scrolls, cannot be ruled out. This was stated by the creative director of the studio Todd Howard in a conversation with Eurogamer.
However, Howard noted that working on series of this scale, as a rule, takes a lot of time.
«I will say this, the Fallout journey was like a 10 year one. After Fallout 3, people were asking to do a movie or show for Fallout, and we really took our time».
He added that he could not yet confirm or deny the appearance of the Elder Scrolls series in the future. At the same time, according to Howard, the Fallout franchise is still more unique and better suited for a film adaptation.
«But, you never know. I think the impact of the show on Fallout as a franchise has been bigger than I expected, so it does make you think like 'hey, is there a path?'»
Earlier, the creative director of Bethesda spoke about the release date of The Elder Scrolls 6. Gamers should wait for it no earlier than GTA 6.
