Preload Begins for Global Mobile Version of Where Winds Meet on Android and iOS
Vladislav Nikolaev
The global mobile version of Where Winds Meet has officially started its preload on iOS and Android ahead of its December 12 release. The game can be downloaded on Google Play and the App Store.
The mobile version will support cross-progression, allowing players to transfer their existing characters to both Android and iOS devices. New characters created on mobile devices will initially be limited to the Story or Recommended difficulty levels (Expert difficulty unlocks after reaching Level 30). To help new players quickly grasp the combat system, the "Parry Assist" feature will be enabled by default for new characters, though it can be disabled.
The developers confirmed that custom control mapping will not be available at the mobile launch, but the feature will be added in a later update. They also noted that the initial iOS and Android release may not have perfect optimization, assuring players that they will continue to improve the game’s performance post-launch.
For the Android version, minimum requirements are Android OS 7.1, 8 GB of RAM, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, MediaTek Dimensity 1000L, or Samsung Exynos 2100 processor. For a comfortable experience, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, MediaTek Dimensity 9200, or Samsung Exynos 2400 is recommended. The iOS version requires at least an iPhone 11 (A13 chip), with an iPhone 14 Pro (A16 chip) recommended for optimal performance.
Where Winds Meet is a free-to-play open-world action RPG that transports players to China during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. The game is already available on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) and PS5.
The best games and applications of 2025 on the App Store were previously announced.
