A new trailer for the ambitious fan-made modification Fallout: Miami has just surfaced online, released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the RPG Fallout 4. The video offers a fresh look at post-apocalyptic Miami.
The mod's story will follow a protagonist who heads to the sunny South in hopes of finding lucrative work, only to become embroiled in a complex conflict between various factions. This massive mod promises an entirely new, expansive location, a unique main storyline, numerous side quests, fresh gear, a host of interesting characters and companions, new factions, and more. It's being developed on the Fallout 4 engine for PC, though the creators have not yet announced a release date.
It's worth noting that on November 10th, Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition — a celebratory version of the fourth installment — was released for PC (Steam and EGS), Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 4 & 5. This edition includes the base game, all six paid expansions (Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World, Wasteland Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, and Vault-Tec Workshop), and over 150 Creation Club items, such as various weapons, costumes, and even a cyberdog. The Anniversary Edition is also slated to arrive on the Nintendo Switch 2 console in 2026.
In other modding news, it was previously revealed that Skyblivion, the unofficial remake of Oblivion built on the Skyrim engine, has been pushed back to 2026.
