The Epic Games Store mobile app has launched a new giveaway for the 2D action title Skul: The Hero Slayer. Android and iOS users can claim and download the game to their devices for free until January 8th.
Developed by the South Korean studio SouthPAW Games, Skul: The Hero Slayer is a 2D action-roguelike. You play as a tiny skeleton named Skul who is on a mission to save the Demon King's castle from invading "heroes" and imperial forces. The game's standout feature is Skul's ability to swap out his head (skull) for new ones, which grants him entirely different sets of unique abilities and playstyles.
Skul: The Hero Slayer originally launched in Steam Early Access in 2020 before arriving on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in 2021. The game received the Mythology Pack DLC in 2023 and officially made its way to Android and iOS in 2024. The project remains a fan favorite, boasting a 93% positive rating on Valve's platform.
This promotion follows the recent launch of the Total War: Three Kingdoms and Wildgate giveaways on the main Epic Games Store.
