Deep Rock Galactic Season 6 Relics of Hoxxes Arrives January 29

Ghost Ship Games has pulled back the curtain on Season 6 of Deep Rock Galactic, officially titled Relics of Hoxxes. Alongside the reveal of the season's key art, the developer confirmed that the new content update will launch on January 29, 2026.

Season 6 is set to expand the mining experience with a brand-new mission type called Heavy Excavation and a haunting new biome known as the Ossuary Depths. To keep veteran miners on their toes, the update also introduces a fresh breed of enemies: the Ossirans.

In keeping with tradition, the update will be accompanied by a new premium cosmetic DLC, the Relic Raider Pack. This paid expansion includes unique armor sets for all four classes, a new headwear item, armor and weapon paintjobs, a full pickaxe set with a matching paintjob, and a dedicated skin and paintjob for Bosco. The DLC will be available for purchase the same day the Season 6 update goes live.

Deep Rock Galactic is a critically acclaimed 1-4 player co-op sci-fi shooter. Players step into the boots of space-faring dwarves employed by an intergalactic mining corporation to strip-mine the perilous planet Hoxxes IV. The game features fully destructible, procedurally generated cave systems where players must balance resource extraction and equipment maintenance against relentless swarms of alien monsters. The title is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5, currently holding an "Overwhelmingly Positive" 97% rating on Steam.
