Developer Mirari&Co has released a fresh trailer for Dark Light: Survivor, an upcoming post-apocalyptic action-roguelike. The new footage highlights the game’s standout mechanic: the ability to switch seamlessly between a top-down view and a third-person perspective.

The game is set in a shattered multiverse where humanity has been nearly wiped out by monsters emerging from the Dark Abyss. Survivors now cling to life aboard the Ghost Train, a unique vessel capable of traversing the rifts between worlds. Players take on the role of a Dark Hunter on a desperate journey to reach Elysium—a mythical sanctuary untouched by the darkness. To survive, you must harvest energy from various dimensions to power the train's next jump, with procedural generation ensuring that no two runs are the same.

Dark Light: Survivor is scheduled to launch into Steam Early Access in Q1 2026. At launch, the project will feature two massive maps, a variety of enemy types, an extensive arsenal of melee and ranged weaponry, a progression system, boss encounters, and even a dedicated pixel mode.

This announcement follows the full release of the WWI battle simulator Rising Front, which recently left Early Access with an impressive 90% positive rating.
