Former Xbox exclusive: it became known how many copies of Forza Horizon 5 were sold on PlayStation 5

Sales of Forza Horizon 5 on PlayStation 5 exceeded five million copies, said analyst Rhys Elliott of Alinea Analytics. Until recently, the racing arcade was an Xbox console exclusive.

Forza Horizon 5 was originally released in 2021 on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game appeared on Sony consoles only in the spring of 2025, but almost immediately became the best-selling project there.

According to analysts, the five million copies sold brought Sony about $300 million.
