Star Wars fans paid for billboards in Times Square to force Disney to bring back Ben Solo

Star Wars fans have been trying to convince Disney to make the cancelled film, which was supposed to be called The Hunt for Ben Solo. Some go so far as to spare no large sums for the opportunity to express their opinions.

Last year, all of Los Angeles was plastered with posters saying "Ben Solo Missing" They were translated into 11 languages so that fans from all over the world could see the support. Now the author of that campaign, Brianna Jones, has gone further and paid for the installation of two billboards in Times Square in New York. One of the billboards appeared near the Disney store.

Billboards depicted the silhouette of Ben Solo with the inscription "May 2026 renew hope in the galaxy and bring him home".

The author of the campaign, Brianna Jones, told IGN that Ben's disappearance not only upset Star Wars fans around the world, but also destroyed the structure of the franchise. At the same time, rumors about the new movie The Hunt for Ben Solo united fans, which became an important event for a community that is usually hostile.

The fact that the story of Ben Solo from the latest Star Wars trilogy could be continued became known in October last year. The performer of the role, Adam Driver, said that he had been working on a film about his character for two years.

The actor was able to recruit Steven Soderbergh, the director of Ocean's Friends. However, after the developments were shown to the Disney executives, the picture was immediately closed. According to the Driver, they just didn't understand how Ben Solo was able to survive.
