Alone in the Dark: The Trilogy is Free on GOG

The GOG service has begun a free giveaway of the horror adventure collection Alone in the Dark: The Trilogy. This bundle includes Alone in the Dark, Alone in the Dark 2, and Alone in the Dark 3.
Alone in the Dark (1992) is a horror adventure game set in the 1920s within the Derceto mansion, where the protagonist arrives to investigate a mysterious murder.
The plot of Alone in the Dark 2 (1993) revolves around an ancient curse and a ghostly pirate. The gameplay shifted to be more action-oriented and featured more gunfights compared to the first installment.
Alone in the Dark 3 (1995) is the final part of the trilogy, transporting players to an abandoned ghost mining town located in the Mojave Desert. The story follows private detective Edward Carnby as he investigates the disappearance of a film crew who came to the settlement to shoot a Western. Among the missing is Emily Hartwood, a character from the first game.
