Getting ready for the battle with Viltrumites: the authors of "Invincible" showed new footage from the fourth season

The authors of the animated series Invincible have released new footage from the fourth season. It seems that a large-scale confrontation with the Viltrumite Empire is getting closer.

The plot of the new episodes will be built around the consequences of the events that occurred in the third season. Mark now needs to not only protect Earth, but also deal with the much more serious threat posed by the Viltrumites.

Viltrumites are an alien humanoid species, whose representatives are similar to humans, but much stronger than them. The first Viltrumite that fans of the series saw was Omni-man — the father of the Invincible.

By the way, the main villain in the fourth season will be the leader of the Viltrumite Empire, Thragg.

The premiere of the new season is scheduled for March 18, on which day three episodes will be released at once. Then the series will switch to a weekly format: new episodes will be released on Wednesdays, and the finale is scheduled for April 22.

Earlier, the author of Invincible Robert Kirkman said that in future episodes, viewers will be able to take a fresh look at the history of the Wiltrumites. There is much more about this race than there was in the previous series and even in the original comics.
