Will it be a hit? Critics have praised the fourth season of the animated series Invincible

The fourth season of the animated series Invincible is receiving excellent reviews from critics. The rating reached 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The plot of the new episodes was built around the consequences of the events that occurred in the third season. Mark Grayson now needs to not only protect Earth, but also deal with the much more serious threat posed by the Viltrumites.

Apparently, the authors managed to make an interesting story. According to the first 14 reviews, the rating of the season on Rotten Tomatoes was 100%. The Metacritic score is also good, with 85 out of 100 based on four reviews.

Experts note that there is more action in the series, and the stakes for the characters are now higher than ever. Some also attributed to the positive aspects the increased attention of the authors to Viltrumites, an alien species whose representatives are similar to humans, but much stronger than them. Omni-man — the father of Invincible, is also a Viltrumite.

Among the shortcomings, critics noted the length of the first episodes. However, it is offset by an active narrative in the middle of the season. It is important to note that the experts have not seen the finale, but it will affect the final impressions.

The first three episodes will be released today, March 18. Then the series will switch to a weekly format: new episodes will be released on Wednesdays, and the finale is scheduled for April 22.
