HONOR's New Mouse Has a Built-In Charging Case for Your Earbuds

HONOR has announced an unconventional accessory aimed at users tired of desktop clutter. The new device, called the Select Yuewo Wireless Ear Mouse Pro, is a hybrid between a wireless mouse and a charging case for true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds.

The gadget is designed to solve the eternal problem of losing wireless earbuds by ensuring they are always literally at hand. The earbuds are stored directly inside the mouse's body, where they also charge from the mouse's built-in 1000mAh battery. While one might think powering the earbuds would drastically reduce the mouse's battery life, the manufacturer claims it can last up to a month on a single charge, even with regular use.

The mouse features an ergonomic, ambidextrous design with a non-slip surface coating. It uses durable TTC micro switches rated for up to 5 million clicks.

Connection to a computer is handled by two separate adapters: one dedicated dongle for the mouse and another for the earbuds. A single button is used to switch between the mouse mode and the audio mode for calls. Notably, the earbuds can also be used independently with a smartphone via Bluetooth while the mouse remains connected to the PC.

The total weight of the gadget with the earbuds inside is 88 grams. It is compatible with Windows 10 and later, as well as macOS 10.13 and above. The starting price for the Honor Select Yuewo Wireless Ear Mouse Pro is set at $37 (approximately ₽3,000). It will be available in two color options: gold and gray. As is often the case, sales will launch first in China, followed by a global release at a later date.

This mouse-and-earbud combo would make a perfect accessory for devices previously released by HONOR, such as the MagicBook Pro 14 laptop and the Pad X9a tablet.
