MAXSUN Releases Ultra-Compact GeForce RTX 5060 with Three Fans
MAXSUN has unveiled a new graphics card, the GeForce RTX 5060 LP 8G S0. The card features a low-profile bracket specifically designed for use in ultra-compact PCs and workstations where a standard full-size GPU just won’t fit.
The card’s dimensions are 182 × 69 × 36 mm. For comparison, regular RTX 5060 versions from other manufacturers often exceed 300mm in length and have full-size PCBs. Despite this miniaturization, MAXSUN’s engineers managed to fit a cooling system with three 50mm fans onto the board, hiding an aluminum heatsink with two copper heat pipes underneath. Heat is dissipated from the GPU via a copper base, and high-conductivity silicone thermal pads are used where the card contacts the memory chips and power components.
At the heart of the card is the NVIDIA GB206 GPU based on the Blackwell architecture with 3,840 CUDA cores. It comes with 8GB of GDDR7 memory on a 128-bit bus, delivering 448 GB/s of bandwidth. The GPU boost clock is rated at 2520 MHz, which exactly matches NVIDIA’s reference specs. There’s no factory overclock on this model. Power draw is 145W, and the board has a single standard 8-pin PCIe power connector. The manufacturer recommends a PSU between 450W and 550W depending on the system configuration.
On the I/O panel, you’ll find three DisplayPort 2.1b ports and one HDMI 2.1b. This sets the card apart from some other low-profile RTX 5060 models, which often only feature two video outputs. In China, the MAXSUN GeForce RTX 5060 LP 8G S0 has already gone on sale for 3,399 yuan (around $470 USD), which is notably higher than the $299 MSRP of the base full-size RTX 5060 versions.
Low-profile gaming GPUs are a rare breed, and enthusiasts who want to build an ultra-compact gaming PC often have to choose between outdated models or integrated graphics. The MAXSUN RTX 5060 LP fills this niche, offering the modern Blackwell architecture and the new GDDR7 memory standard. Performance-wise, this card is no different from a regular RTX 5060, so buyers will be paying a premium solely for compactness.
