DDR5 Memory Prices in Germany Hit a New Record in July 2026

According to 3D Center, DDR5 RAM kit prices in Germany kept climbing in July 2026, with the price index reaching 448% compared with July 2025 and surpassing every previous mark.

For comparison, the index stood at 419% in June 2026 and had already peaked at 440% in January and February before July pushed it even higher. In other words, the latest figures did not just continue the upward trend — they set a fresh all-time record for the German market.

3D Center said the data was collected from multiple German retailers and covered DDR5 kits in 8 GB, 16 GB, 24 GB, 32 GB, and 48 GB configurations. eBay and Amazon Marketplace were excluded from the sample, so the index reflects standard retail channels rather than marketplace pricing.

Almost every DDR5 kit became more expensive in July 2026, with only 2x 48 GB DDR5-6400 and 2x 24 GB DDR5-7200 holding out against the broader rise. The biggest month-over-month jumps were seen in 2x 16 GB DDR5-6000 CL28 and 2x 16 GB DDR5-7200+, which rose by about 16-17%.

By 3D Center's assessment, July 2026 was the worst month for DDR5 prices since last year. With the index now at 448% versus July 2025, PC building in Germany is looking increasingly difficult for anyone hoping for a cheaper memory market soon.
