ASUS and GALAX raise RTX 50 GPU prices again, with some models up to $74 higher
A September price update from harukaze5719 says ASUS and GALAX have raised the prices of several GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards, with the RTX 5080 seeing the biggest jump. The latest changes were spotted on September 1 and affect the RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5080.
In that post, the source listed the new increases by vendor and model, including GALAX and ASUS. According to the report, ASUS raised RTX 5070 prices by 150-300 yuan, which is about $22-$44. GALAX reportedly added 200 yuan, or about $30, to the RTX 5070.
GALAX also reportedly increased the RTX 5070 Ti by 300 yuan, or about $44. The largest jump was for the RTX 5080, which rose by 500 yuan, or about $74.
The latest increases do not include RTX 50, 60, or 90-class cards. The price hikes are linked to rising memory costs, and the report says this may be the third or fourth RTX 50 price increase this year.
If memory prices keep climbing, how many more RTX 50 price hikes could buyers still face this year?
