BioWare shows off first gameplay of Dragon Age: The Veilguard

BioWare has shown off the first gameplay of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a sequel to the 2014 role-playing game Dragon Age: Inquisition. The video was posted on YouTube.

New details about the RPG have also emerged:

There will be an advanced character editor (like in Dragon's Dogma 2);
The main character can be a human, elf, qunari, or dwarf;
Three classes (warrior, mage, and rogue) and several subclasses have been announced;
The game will be more linear;
Side quests will focus on quality rather than quantity;
The ability to pause combat will remain;
Battles in the new part will be more dynamic;
An ability wheel has been added for greater convenience;
NPCs will remember the player's decisions;
BioWare is aiming for 60 FPS on consoles;
There will be 7 companions, but only two can be taken with you;
It will be possible to romance all companions;
Players will be able to choose from one of six factions.
