Fans released a cool short film based on Resident Evil
A fan-made short film inspired by the original Resident Evil has been released on the Residence of Evil YouTube channel. The story focuses on an animal caretaker, who was featured in one of the notes, who got infected with the T-virus and started to slowly lose his mind.
Fans will see several familiar faces, including Jill Valentine and Albert Wesker, and will also learn the origin of the famous phrase «Itchy, tasty.» Many noted that the short film turned out to be much more heartfelt than the official movies.
«This 20 minute short had more soul than Welcome to Raccoon City and The Paul Anderson films combined,» — @michaeltrapson.
«I don't care that it's 20 minutes long; this video alone is better than most of the live action RE films combined!» — @michaeld.1486.
«This just proves that Resident Evil fans will ALWAYS make better RE films than bigger studios,» — @JPalinkas1993.
By the way, at the end of the video, you can see a hint at the next project — a film based on the Dino Crisis series. Fans have been waiting for a remake of the cult series for a long time, but Capcom remains silent.
