A fan showed what a remake of Ultimate Spider-Man could look like with advanced graphics

YouTuber ItIsSpid released a video demonstrating the «remake» of Ultimate Spider-Man, redoing some scenes and adding a new gameplay segment in the symbiote suit. The project is a collection of mods, but it looks impressive.

A fan has extensively reworked the 2005 game, replacing character models, redrawing comic book segments, and updating graphics. He «borrowed» the costumes, characters and animations from mods for Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered. In addition, ItIsSpid added flying around the city in a symbiote suit, which was not in the original. You can see comparisons between the old and updated versions at the end of the video (time code 3:10).

The list of mods used can be found under the video on the author's channel. The build was tested on PC and PS5 using reflection retracing.

Previously, a mod was released for Marvel's Spider-Man that added a «parody Spider-Man» from the TV series The Boys. In addition, data miners recently found the first builds of Marvel's Spider-Man 3.
