The first reviews and details of Star Wars Outlaws have started to appear online. Ubisoft's new game will be released on August 30, but owners of the deluxe editions will be able to start playing it on the 27th.
At the time of writing this note, the average score is 78 points on Metacritic and 77 points on OpenCritic. 79% of OpenCritic journalists recommend the game for playthrough.
The press is generally satisfied with the game, but there are plenty of complaints. Journalists praised the colorful graphics with vibrant planets, interesting companions of the main character — the droid ND-5 and the creature Nix, — as well as the open world. However, many criticize the simple stealth, the underdeveloped reputation system, and technical issues.
