This is a great mystical detective story in the quest + hidden object genre with added action. The plot does not let up all four episodes; all 7-8 hours of the game pass in one breath. The ending comes suddenly and leaves some suspense. There are literally a couple of questions about the plot moves, but if you don’t find fault, then everything is cool.
In the game you will find puzzles at every turn, but they are intuitive and not very difficult, and therefore interesting to play. The use of objects in the environment suggests itself. If you don’t understand what to do, it means you searched the location poorly and didn’t find something; as a rule, all the necessary items are nearby. A huge plus: we did everything possible in one place - then the game itself will tell you where to go. By the way, the game has three difficulty levels: so there is an option to go through without any hints, just carefully searching everything around. The most difficult thing here is finding objects. Searching for a mountain of things, and sometimes in a certain order, among beautifully drawn trash, is not at all easy, but it is entertaining.
The atmosphere is created by excellent and original art with cinematic inserts and comics in the spirit of Max Payne, another feature: even in comics you sometimes need to find something and click, so you won’t be able to scroll through them without looking at them. You will have to shoot several times in the game (don’t be surprised), and even if it sometimes looks like a flash game from a browser, it dilutes the process and looks appropriate. The game also has excellent English voice acting and a good Russian translation in the form of subtitles.
Verdict, I definitely recommend it not only to fans of the genre, but also to connoisseurs of mysticism, detective stories and simply high-quality games.
