My first strategy game on PC. Perhaps one of the best of its time, the implementation of the campaign and the map editors simply blew my mind. Considering that I knew and loved history, participation in these events myself complemented the whole picture.
I will never forget marco polo, robin hood, lumberjack, rock on - card cheats, money, etc. There is a cheat for cars that die hard.
We fought with our brothers on the grid, also on random maps, although it was not so easy to win there.
You can play for many countries, moving from one civilization to another, researching new technologies (which seemed logical), training a new type of troops.
I loved playing for the Goths - there you could train paladins in the stables.
