Alan's tool in the fight against darkness would be very useful in the modern real world. I went through it for the first time back in 2013; my mentality was not yet mature at that time, and then I could not understand the whole meaning of this work for the corresponding reasons. But at the release of the remastered, I returned and even then I began to look for meaning, to look for connections in every smallest detail, and believe me, there are a lot of them. Frankly, not many Remedy products make it onto my personal list of favorites, but a story about a writer with a deep plot definitely takes its rightful place. Sometimes you wonder where this confrontation is going on, in reality or just in Alan’s head. Everyone will find the answer for themselves. The Control project, to be honest, did not leave such impressions, but there is an intertwining with Alan’s universe, which I also greedily approached, just to learn more about the writer’s universe, I’m looking forward to the second Wake.
