Games Alien Rage All reviews Review from Balistr

I'll be honest, I started Alien Rage out of pure curiosity. I don't like any of City Interactive's games. But reviewers have been talking about the growth of developers lately, so it would be completely foolhardy to ignore their achievements.

And now I select the difficulty level and start watching the introductory video. Blah blah blah, the voiceover tells how people mine some important mineral. If I worked in this company, then, of course, I would feel proud of such work, but, excuse me, I am not; I started the game to have fun, and it has nothing to do with mining a thing called "promethium".

Time and again I look at the weapons that occupy a quarter of the screen and mentally bet that this is another inexpressive shooter. I pressed the left mouse button, yeah, the sounds of shots from a futuristic rifle resemble rattles. I reached the first enemies. I will say this: skillshots (what they are: the more gracefully you kill an enemy, the more points you get) were a great idea in Bulletstorm, they complemented the atmosphere of the game, but here they look so-so. I doubt anyone will name Alien Rage game of the year. And thank God!
