A good continuation of the wonderful Alien vs. Predator series, but not without its flaws. As for the plot, everything here is basically not bad, everything is in the canons of the genre and nothing supernatural: the predators, as always, decided to hunt, the Marines are sent to find out what is happening, and the strangers simply survive among all this. The gameplay is a little strange: there are no questions about the predator and the alien, everything is basically convenient and logical, but in my opinion they made playing as a Marine much easier. In the previous parts of the series, if an alien or predator came close to you, then you were already considered a corpse and you always had to be very attentive and react to every squeak of the radar with bated breath. In this same part, you can calmly let the enemy closer, put a block, thereby reflecting his blow, and throwing him to the ground, calmly shoot him. Reflecting the blow of the sharpest blades of a powerful predator, throwing it away at the same time, is something beyond the bounds of fantasy. Thus, in my opinion, they destroyed the whole atmosphere of the game as a Marine, now you are not just a person who is trying to survive among monsters, but a real “Rambo” who calmly walks through the levels and gives out to everyone left and right. Another drawback of the game is its optimization. I don’t know how it is at the moment, but at the time the game was released, the FPS dropped a lot in some places. The multiplayer is not bad, the Marine’s impulsiveness is even appropriate here, since previously it was possible to win only with numbers, but now the Marine has a chance to survive alone. There are different multiplayer game modes and they are all quite interesting. As a result, we can say that the game is worth purchasing at least for the sake of multiplayer, but it’s better to play Sing in the 2000s version.
