Please note that the game has different versions, which are played and completed differently:
1) PlayStation 2 and Wii versions were originally released
2) Xbox 360 and PC versions were initially released
3) PlayStation 3 a version called Inferno was released six months later
Versions 2 and 3 were made by the same developers - Eden Games, this is the Senior version of the game. And version 1 was made by the creators of Obscure - Hydravision Entertainment, this is the Junior version of the game, rather an adaptation of the Senior version for older consoles.
The Senior version is many times cooler than the Junior version, BUT some things are better done in the Junior version.
The older version on Xbox 360 and PC is similar to RE4 - there is an over-the-shoulder camera, there is a dynamic fixed camera like in Silent Hill and there is a first-person camera. The most convenient way to play is with the 1st person camera.
And the second Senior version on PS3 got rid of a number of technical problems, was replenished with new content (subway mission + new boss), BUT lost a number of game mechanics, the main character is now always in the middle of the screen in mode 3 faces. The game controls like some kind of State of Decay. They improved the game, but at the same time simplified it...
I highly recommend trying the first Senior version of the game (Xbox 360 or PC), and then if you like it, try other versions. They are all unique, each in its own way: PS2 and Wii have different controls and feel, but at the same time there are characters that were not in the Older version of the game.
