Among Us is a great, digital version of the mafia.
But not without its flaws:
- Since the game caught the “wave of hype” and began to appear absolutely everywhere, this excited a sharp surge in youngsters (many probably heard the familiar saying “Young morons” in their heads) , which in turn most often simply interferes with a comfortable game. Excessive aggression, illiteracy, inability to clearly express your thoughts and arguments - you will most likely encounter all this in the game, at least in the mobile version for sure. However, you can also meet quite pleasant people, both quite adults and children.
- *Subjective*
Small variety of levels and tasks on them. Yes, at first the game surprises with the abundance of mini-games, various forks, passages and opportunities, however, when you enter the 10th session in a row, it becomes simply boring to perform the same tasks over and over again.
"Have I already told you what madness is!?"
- *Subjective*
Not everyone may like the style of the game because of its excessive cartoonishness.
- Control on mobile devices. It is not very responsive to the player, especially if you are the owner of a small screen (I played on an Iphone SE in 2016) - it was sometimes difficult to get the character to clearly perform the actions you needed.
- As already written earlier, the game is replete with “young morons” who, often, simply cannot understand the rules of the game and how it works. For example, people often came across as traitors who simply could not fully act it out - murders in front of everyone, or “not in the right place, not at the right time,” the inability to build a logical chain of actions in their heads and correctly argue for it , the inability to competently “fuss your brains” and mislead other players - because of this, you lose interest in the game. As a result, all their arguments and justifications boil down to the banal “it’s not me”, “you’re crazy”, “what the fuck are you doing”, “fuck you” - and this whole stream can come from one person.
That's all I remember for now.
Despite this, Among Us is a great game for a few evenings in the company of friends and acquaintances, especially if there are 10 or more of you - the previously described problems with the community disappear, of course, if there are no such “morons” among you.
