ArmA 2: Private Military Company is an addition to the tactical military shooter with a first-person view. A year after British and Coalition forces successfully crushed a rebel uprising in Takistan, NATO began reducing its military presence in the region. Private military organizations are shouldering the burden of increasing workloads, with increasing competition among multinational organizations for lucrative security contracts. Private Military Company, ION, Inc. (Black Element), has successfully received a contract — codenamed Black Gauntlet — tasked with providing security to UN forces as they intend to gather all information regarding Takistan's halted nuclear program.
