Despite the similarity of "Origins", I really liked the game For me, everything is great here.
There are so many assassins, but it seems like there is still room to move. Choosing Greece as the main location is an excellent decision because many people love Greek meadows. The game is worthy of attention, but it’s starting to seem like it’s still worth knowing when to stop)
completed the game to the end, ehh, if only I could forget it and go through it again
The game is called Assassin, but you play as a Greek, and the elements of an assassin are not the same here at all, you don’t have that mantle, you’re just another Greek with swords or a Shield and a Sword, as for me, Assassin was distinguished by the fact that he is always in the shadows , kills secretly and looks appropriate, but here they made a completely different game, not similar to the previous parts, this part disappointed me after playing it for several hours.
The game is good, and Greece is good in the game. I was waiting for a game about Rome, but this one will do. I liked it, the graphics are beautiful, the big open world. It's just a pity that everything is very similar to Origin's. But a more developed and improved version of it. It's quite possible to play, the game is interesting. Especially for those who love games about historical periods.
8.3 Spartans out of 10
The game from Yubikov, despite various shortcomings in the form of expensive (by Russian standards) microtransactions, the game is beautiful.
When you climb to a high point and behold mesmerizing views, it adds beauty to the game.
However, the combat has become more like, in my opinion, like 3 Witchers.
However, the story of the origin of the assassins, shown by Ubisoft, in Greece is wonderful
The game itself is not so bad, but personally I didn’t really like the choice of dialogues (answers) and the large map, since getting through the missions is problematic, but still this is at the beginning, overall the plot is interesting
not a bad game overall, typical for yubisovt, and now in order
pros:
graphics and graph design are top notch
there are interesting songs on the ship
general gameplay and added skills
cons:
an attempt at an RPG, but at the same time there are few interesting dialogues (and the influence of the choice is minimal)
assassination is only a faint taste
the plot continues in the DLS (the main game is essentially incomplete)
truncated situations at sea compared to black flag (where did the storms go?)
DONAT and reduced experience gain (hey, buy an accelerator)
a lot of monotonous missions
if you are not afraid of the green and exploring + - the same “places of interest” then buy
Let me start by saying that I am not a fan of the Assassin's Creed series. I only completed the first part at one time, so the review is based purely on impressions specifically from Odyssey in isolation from other games. As soon as I saw this game, I immediately wanted to play it - an action RPG in a seamless game world and ancient scenery! Unfortunately, I was able to play it only now due to a belated PC upgrade, but I’m still impressed.
We are allowed to plunge headlong into the era of Ancient Greece - you often forget that this is even AC, drawing parallels more with some third Witcher. No, seriously, there is a large game world here, a lot of quests and dialogues, however, in the additional quests they are quite monotonous, and in the story ones, either the voice actors greatly overact… Read full
The game is sooo beautiful, the world is just beautiful. So far the game is the most beautiful of all) Cassandra is generally a cool character, I was constantly in love with her.
The plot is ordinary, the gameplay too. In general, a normal standard game.
Another reincarnation of the world's favorite assassins, this time in the Hellenic environment. From the first minutes, the landscapes of Ancient Greece are spread out before us, emerald leaves rustle and turquoise waves rustle on the sand of wild beaches.
But it was not the views that won the love of thousands of fans. Local beauty is inhabited by various enemies, among which, unlike the first parts of the series, mythical creatures also appear.
The mechanics have acquired new elements, and the battles themselves have moved away from the initially hidden murders towards scenes from blockbusters.
Separately, it is worth dwelling on the plot part, the development of the character and his interaction with the outside world. Now you feel almost fully involved in all the events taking place, and … Read full
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is the game with which I started playing the assassin series, then Valhalla))
I'm not a fan of the assassin series, but I really liked this game and I got hooked on it. After completing it completely, I finished the game again. Now I’m playing through Valhalla
for the 2nd time, overall I’m happy with the game, it’s very cool, the choice of character and leveling up. graphon is super
I really like the mythology of ancient Greece and the setting, but the game is artificially lengthened and has inexplicable difficulty in some areas of the game, probably to milk more money from transactions in the OFFLINE GAME.
I've been familiar with the Assassins since the first episode of the game. And the first parts were good. The changes to the Assassins Creed game series were to some extent beneficial, but when I played the origins, the game did not interest me, everything was done clumsily. I decided to play Odyssey, in principle everything is still clumsy, but for some reason this part (after the introduction of the RPG system) does not let me go so quickly. The plot is not particularly interesting at first, but every time it becomes more interesting and intriguing. And Greece is done very beautifully here. Conquering the expanses of Greece is much more interesting and exciting than the expanses of Egypt. I really wish that Yubiki wouldn’t clip them so often and would bring everything to mind. Then everything would be much better.
I played almost all parts of the franchise. After an average run, I needed a breath of fresh air, and the fans got it in the form of “origins”. It was a kind of experiment, in some places it was not bad, but after the classic games of the series with a focus on history, all this nonsense looks extremely comical with fighting ostriches from the time of dinosaurs and space armor. The worst thing is that the YouTubers liked the whole idea and now the classic assassin’s conveyor belt will be put on the Origins rails, because the second part is almost a carbon copy of the original. Conclusion: it’s worth taking only if you’re a big fan, or miss beautiful open world landscapes
I went through the origins and, to be honest, the game wasn’t very good, it wasn’t so addictive that I wanted to return, rather I finished it after half the game for the sake of completing it. As for this part, here the story changes, in addition to all the best that migrated from the origins, the game does not become boring so much and delivers pleasant emotions.
The game is awesome and impeccably beautiful. The plot also doesn't lag behind, and the graphics are something special. The gameplay itself is pleasant, the tasks (both side and main) are not overly difficult. In some places you need to level up in order to complete the main story without much difficulty, but I didn’t encounter this and played for fun.
Those who say that the game is crap because... there is no plot that was in previous assassins - what did you expect? This is not a canonical part, just like Valhalla and Origins.
Scenes with agendas are a little annoying, namely scenes where Mr. can get in trouble with other men. Yes, you can get around this by choosing a different answer, but still. The game is about ancient Greece, after all, and not about the rainbow flag.
An interesting and beautiful toy with its Greek landscapes. It is advisable to play on full graphics and a high difficulty level and you will get an unforgettable experience from the game =) I enjoyed it and even really enjoyed it =)
The gameplay seemed a bit sparse. Of course, it is richer than in other games in the series, but a couple of dozen levels and perks that don’t really introduce new mechanics...
The graphics are made on a Level. Without words.
The plot... on the one hand, it looks very interesting, but on the other... The romantic lines are spoken by MY CHARACTER, but I am ashamed.
The controls look a little tedious. Although assigning abilities to 1-4 looks quite interesting, you often forget which button is which.
Sound and music. No complaints at all.
Multiplayer. Well, there’s nothing to evaluate, I won’t spoil the evaluation.
Localization. Game. ACTING, FUCKING ACTING. Alexios can still be listened to, but Kassandra’s “emotions” create the impression that she doesn’t really care about what’s happening. Learn English. Don't suffer.
This game is most interesting because of the Hellas setting, it is interesting, not common, and overall quite nicely presented. But the question arises: what are the assassins doing there? And yet, let's move on to the gameplay part: the first few hours are interesting to explore the game world: everything looks worked out to the smallest detail, the locations are not boring, the combat (which has gone towards RPG, which is also quite interesting for a series of games) is also not infuriating, and the opponents, whose strength depends on their level, which in turn depends on the location, really interest you. And it would seem that this is a great part with good leveling and an interesting shift in genres, and even a well-developed game world. But at some point, after a few hours, you real… Read full
