High ratings, accolades and everything like that. Guys, what are you doing? The last good game in the series was Syndicate. It was perfectly balanced and at the same time it is the only game in the series with truly interesting DLC.
And here, what do we have? Two years break. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag development team. The origins of the formation of the brotherhood of assassins. Huge game world. And a general rethinking of the series.
If someone wants to say that I’m crazy and don’t understand what I’m talking about, then you’re out of here. Firstly, I have all the games in the series on physical media, so you can understand that I’m not here in passing. Secondly, I replayed the first 5 games about 3 times each. Thirdly, I completed Assassin's Creed: Unity 3 times, and this is the most buggy and failed game, both technically and in terms of plot. There are no complaints about the graphon - it’s gorgeous there. In addition, I knocked out all the achievements in it, and this, for a moment, collects a bunch of all sorts of junk, including about 400 chests.
Syndicate was completed 2 times and all achievements were knocked out there too.
But with Origins, someone will not understand my position after I say that I again have all the achievements and 80 hours of played time there. We can say that I liked the game.
But no, I don’t know how to feel about her.
What you need to know is that this is the same AC, only a little broken: broken by the level of opponents and a bunch of fantasy weapons. One is poisonous, the other is incendiary. Etc. In addition, due to the levels, an enemy whose enemy is 2 units higher than you cannot be killed from the bushes with a hidden blade. We'll have to fight openly.
Further the level broke the passage. The plot, where Mr. Bayek, a former Medjay, takes revenge for the death of his son, takes about 6 hours. But because of the level of tasks, you won’t complete it that quickly. Go swing on everything that moves and on the side to follow the plot. Please note that in The Witcher 3 you could complete high-level tasks if your level was low.
In general, the RPG system included in the game broke it.
But, 80 hours?
And this is the fun of Ubisoft games. You just have a blast running around their worlds and collecting all sorts of garbage.
If you like the series, buy it. If you don't like it, pass by.
