I’ll say a little about my overall impression of the game. It seems to me that this is one of the best stories in the entire series, it is told without excessive pathos on the part of the main character, the actions are simple and understandable to any person, you are imbued with his story, that same sad story of the legendary killer of the Assassins and Templars.
Plot. This is a wonderful story about misunderstanding and rose-colored glasses around the protagonist, when good goals, achievements and ahead of competitors come to the fore, but in the end it turns out to be only self-conviction. At the moment of the story, you can trace the development of Shay from the point of view of moral beliefs and choice of actions, he becomes more cold-blooded and sadder.
Gameplay. In the game, as in other parts of the series, you can complete various tasks for which you receive rewards, they do not look like secondary tasks, they are something like “Kill this or that.” It is possible to upgrade your personal ship "Morrigan", with which you can explore the game map, fight on ships, or simply sail for pleasure in the waters of North America or the harsh waters of the Atlantic. From time to time, assassins attack Cormac in order to kill the Templar, but with training, over time they will become a pushover.
Management. It is a little simpler than in the first parts of the series, but no less interesting. Not like AC Unity, which doesn’t even give you room for error. Very pleasant control of both the ship and the main character 9.5/10.
Optimization. A long time ago, on an old PC from 2013 in 2GB with built-in graphics in the Pentium, I played stable 40-50, between low-medium settings, optimization at the highest level, I would say that it is many times better than in AC 2, Brotherhood and Revelations. 10/10
Graphics. In my opinion, excellent, no soap, very nice character animations and high-quality cutscenes. 9.5/10
Total. The game is worth the money and more than that. It's addictive from the first minutes thanks to an interesting plot feature. Advice from myself: If you have never played the Assassin's Creed series, then I advise you to pay special attention to AC 3, AC 4, AC Unity, AC Rogue because the stories of these parts are somehow intertwined and have common characters.
