Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass is the very first addition for the first battlefield. What can you say about this addition?! The addition turned out to be successful in some places, and not in others. The very first thing I want to note is the cards. They are not intended for any specific purposes as was implemented in battlefield 4. The cards from this add-on are balanced. This means that there are maps for close combat and for cutting on a tank, and there is also room for circling on airplanes. I especially liked the map of FORT VO (in the bunker). This map is somewhat reminiscent of the "Locked Down Operation" map from Part 4. It’s quite cramped here and you can feel the heat of battle especially strongly! I don’t know about others, but I like this heat.
New technology.
New equipment and a new giant have appeared in the game. I didn’t get much pleasure from it, and I haven’t been able to ride in a giant yet - I don’t have much zeal (I’m more of an infantryman than a pilot of any equipment). Of course, this giant French takn looks excellent. If he appears on the field, it is better to hide. Because he will kill you without asking your last name.
Trench Raider
The addition gives us a new infantry class - the trench raider. In my opinion, this is the dumbest superior infantry class available. The flamethrower has a flamethrower, the sentry has a machine gun, the tank hunter has an armor-piercing rifle, and the trench raider has a club! Club, CARL! Who even came up with this? Yes, of course, he also has a pistol, but who needs it? Playing as a sentry, I gain 10-15 skills in one life. Trench Raider gives me 2-3 skills in one life! This is nothing!
Weapons
New weapons are certainly good. They added 5 new guns to the expansion. Each class has a gun. The stormtrooper was given two new guns (a shotgun and a vatomatic). By the way, opening them is quite a task. In my opinion, the most difficult tasks for opening cannons are those of a stormtrooper. I spat while I completed the tasks for the stormtrooper. But it's worth it! The new assault rifle for the attack aircraft is probably the most successful gun of all those added by the add-on.
Summary
If you are tired of playing the standard first battle on standard maps, then you should take this addition. Because The cards here turned out to be very successful! Take it only for the cards. For the sake of guns and equipment, it’s not worth it. Personally, I was not attracted by the technology, the window pilot, and the fear of new weapons
