Speaking of Battefield: Hardline, it should be noted that the game was not developed by DICE, and the style here is completely different from other games in the Battlefieldseries. There are very few things that give away the fact that Hardline belongs to the "BF cult", but fortunately the word "Battlefield" in the name is not the only such thing.
The plot here is completely different from the previous parts of BF. But, at the same time, it does not stand out in any way from other “crime dramas” similar to it. A set of cliches of similar plots is present and clearly does not add points to Hardline. There is also stupid AI, but very, very rich graphics - that’s all that can be said about the plot.
Let's move on to the main cherry of the Battlefield series - multiplayer.
There are 7 modes in “Hardline”. "Rescue" is a sign "licked from Counter-Strike", "Tracking" is not bad, but only for those who came to Hardline for real "hardcore and strategy", "Robbery" is quite okay, " Team fight"... So, a pleasant (for some) trifle to relieve one's soul. Here's what you should focus on - it's 2 new and one old mode - "Hijacking", "Blood Money" and "Capture".
The good old "Conquest" is back to shine again. This mode features all of the Hardline maps and provides a healthy dose of fun and bloody action, up close and away. They are very, very different from the maps of, say, Battlefield 4 - here they are made exclusively in peaceful (before we came here!) urban surroundings, you won’t find any combat aircraft or tanks here - only cars and helicopters (and also gliders, but only on one map). There is little Levolution here, mostly the destruction is ordinary - you can, say, destroy walls or part of a bridge. But the crane collapse and sandstorm also add their own charm to the game, not being something global (like the destruction of a skyscraper), but still remaining a pleasant addition. So, Capture is a decent mode, worthy of playing for a few hours. Blood Money is the perfect addition to a game like this. Battles between police and bandits for a bunch of money lying right in the middle of the map always bring a couple of pleasant and unexpected surprises, especially when you have smart allies. And we must not forget that your vault can also be robbed, so you need to keep an eye on all enemies here! And yes, you also need to rob your enemies’ storage facilities, so they know! And here we come to the pearl, the best mode in Hardline - "Theft". I just love this mode! Bringing together the best and biggest cards, Hijacking brings as much adrenaline, action and fun as no other Team Showdown can! The novelty is that the control points here are cars, and you can only capture them by rushing towards the sunset at full speed. All the beauty of this mode can only be described by playing it 10 times. Try it, you won’t regret it!
Hardline also added a couple of nice upgrades to old things. There are more melee weapons, the combat kit system has received a nice bonus - now kits can be purchased directly with in-game money, which is very convenient. The same thing now with weapons, but it depends on who.
But the impression is spoiled by poor multiplayer graphics, as many as 3 not particularly necessary modes, as well as the expensive Premium, which has clearly lost quality (Masks as an advantage? Seriously?). So at the moment, Battlefield: Hardline is a solid middling title that lacks a couple of additions to reach its true potential.
