BioShock... How many pleasant memories come to mind when you mention the name of this game... Just think, at one time I was even afraid to play it and avoided it.

Everything changed with the brilliant appearance of BioShock Infinite, it was after it that I decided to get acquainted with the first part. I will never forget this meeting.

The first dive under water, the music makes me shiver, and behold, in front of me is a majestic structure of human hands - a city under water called Delight. And then I learned that the great days of this place were over, and it was living its last hours. I had to learn the history of this place and protect myself from inhabitants who had long ago lost their appearance and reason. The level design, character audio, and great music immersed me in the story of R… Read full

Bioshock is a good game with a cool atmosphere! A city under water is something that can only be found in a Jules Verne book! The idea is very interesting and tempting! Unfortunately I didn’t understand the plot, I played the English version!

PROS:

Atmosphere! It is implemented here one hundred percent! When you get into this city, of course, you don’t feel like you’re in a closed space, but there’s a certain feeling that there are many meters to the surface of the ocean, and that something bad awaits me at the depths - it’s there! Back then, when this game came out, it was considered a horror game, it was really scary then, now this game is more like a regular shooter with its own bells and whistles! Speaking of gadgets, the idea of abilities gives this game its own zest - electric shoc… Read full

A game that simply amazed with its beauty, authenticity and surroundings. Here, literally every location and every new skirmish with an enemy (even an ordinary one, not to mention bosses) arouses unprecedented interest. And the city of Delight evokes... delight. You don’t just want to watch the development of events - you want to make them happen, and rush to a new chapter of history as soon as possible. But it contains quite a lot of interesting meetings (with the city’s luminaries who have gone crazy, with Big Daddies and Little Sisters and other unusual characters), a lot of secrets, and even there is room for a fateful choice that will ultimately affect the ending.

Such games leave a lasting impression; you want to return to them again. Such games become the standards and firstborn of great gaming universes. This happened with “BioShock”.

9.5

The game is morally outdated in terms of gameplay and graphics (although in fact it still looks quite beautiful), but the ideas presented in it and everything that it talks about are unlikely to ever become outdated. Now this is more of a game for people who love an interesting plot and an unusual background to this plot.

8.0

Fierce science fiction with simple gameplay, tons of weapons and deadly magic tricks.

Not a bad plot, although too pretentious, it is too easy to get a good ending.

Legendary action shooter

8.3

For me, a truly legendary game that literally changed my life. The plot, concept and message are at the highest level. Of course, not without its drawbacks: repeated use of the same models and crooked shooting (if played out, it’s quite normal). The game is not without its flaws, but I can't give it less than 9
