Games Call of Juarez: Gunslinger All reviews Review from Anduin

I played all the games in the series - the ancient first part was quite good and could compete with the also popular and excellent game of those times in the western style - Gun; the second part, in my opinion, is a masterpiece with a very interesting plot, variety in gameplay with the ability to choose heroes and excellent shootouts; The third part of Cartel can be considered a clear miscarriage - disgusting controls, dull shootings, and a sluggish plot, although the very idea of u200bu200btransferring the setting to a modern twist is quite interesting, but, again, it is poorly implemented.

And now a new part appears, which, fortunately, literally returned to “its time” and the developers realized the failure of Cartel. You can immediately note the specific graphics - Borderlands fans will be delighted. The plot is not original, but its presentation is very interesting. However, instead of inserts after which you immediately throw yourself into the thick of battle, I would prefer an open world (that is, make it almost RDR on a PC), or partially open, as in the second part of the series. Ride a horse to music from some 80s western or Django and complete additional missions - this is something I really miss.

In the end, what remains is a primitive shooting gallery, thanks at least for the different upgrade branches and weapons, but very beautiful and atmospheric - 7.5.
