The Citadel strategy was released clearly under the influence of Stronghold, and has all the same mechanics. The game, released in 2013, wants 230 UAH or 500 rubles from us.
Instead, the game plunges us into the time of King Arthur, and into the decline of the empire after his death. The game, in principle, has a good economy, fairly mediocre graphics and simply disgusting technical performance. Let me make a reservation right away: I did not complete the game. Fortunately, the game does its best for such an outcome. Still, it’s not for nothing that she has “very bad” on Steam. For starters, the game crashes. Also sometimes it doesn't leave saves. And personally, my workers refused to work in the mine, thereby preventing me from building buildings and raising the level of the city.
This is not a bad bug, with the help of which it is extremely difficult to get beyond the 1st level.
I played Citadel in 2018. And as for me, critical technical flaws should have only one rating. Col. A game can be bad in terms of story, it can be terrible in many aspects. But if the technical implementation makes it impossible to complete the game 5 years after its release... Then 1 out of 12 is the rating that the developers deserve.
P.S. Maybe I'll look for a patch and update the review. Since the game is potentially mediocre. But so far on the Internet, apart from a bunch of complaints, I have not found an answer to a single question.
Oh yes. Everything written on 10/26/18. The latest patch version is 4.0.4. The mines are still not functioning. Why this game is still on Steam is a big question. I categorically do not recommend purchasing. The game is simply impossible to beat.
