The continuation of Crysis turned out to be surprisingly controversial. It was supposed to be larger and more diverse compared to the first part, but in reality it became even more closed, cramped, and in general almost everyone went to Kolda. Everyone - that's really almost everyone. There is no more freedom of action for you as in the first part, enemies also continue to spawn until you move forward... Multiplayer has been completely licked completely from Kolda. The same killstreaks, the same small closed levels..

Almost the entire playthrough I had thoughts in my head - I wish it would all be over already...

Even the plot hardly intersects with the original.

In general, the impressions are very mixed.. I expected more.

Until 2017, I didn’t play the Crisis series, although I’ve had a computer since 1999, but at one time I missed it and the computer was weak, and I didn’t really have the desire, but for some reason at one of the sales I bought a set of the first 2 games in the series.

Naturally, I started in order from the 1st part and, to put it mildly, I didn’t like it, I wrote a negative review, expressing a number of complaints, and what’s funny is that although the games came out a long time ago, it’s as if the developers listened to me.

I wrote that in the 1st part there are still some problems with optimization, and my computer is not top in 2018, but for 2007 it was very even and there were severe drawdowns, especially at the moment when you get out from under ice dome and the Cephs attack from the … Read full

And here is the continuation of the legend. Crysis 2.

I wrote about this game in my review of the first part, so I see no point in repeating myself.

Graphics are on par. The plot is "average". And the gameplay has become both better and worse at the same time.

I'll start with the positive points:

- Graphics and animation have generally been improved. It just became more pleasing to the eye to look at all the world chaos.

- Using costume modes has been made more convenient. Running starts automatically when you press "Shift". Camouflage and armor are placed on separate buttons. And the use of power techniques is activated by pressing the necessary keys, i.e. strong jump - hold down the spacebar, throw an object/grenade strongly - hold down the mouse button. This has greatly simplified control a… Read full
