Games Crysis 2 All reviews Review from MrCrazyCat

And here is the continuation of the legend. Crysis 2.

I wrote about this game in my review of the first part, so I see no point in repeating myself.

Graphics are on par. The plot is "average". And the gameplay has become both better and worse at the same time.

I'll start with the positive points:

- Graphics and animation have generally been improved. It just became more pleasing to the eye to look at all the world chaos.

- Using costume modes has been made more convenient. Running starts automatically when you press "Shift". Camouflage and armor are placed on separate buttons. And the use of power techniques is activated by pressing the necessary keys, i.e. strong jump - hold down the spacebar, throw an object/grenade strongly - hold down the mouse button. This has greatly simplified control and you won’t want to go back to the old “wheel”.

And now the cons:

- The game has become a simple corridor joker. And that's it. Nothing to add. Yes, you can still choose how you kill your enemies. That's all the variety. It was sad to realize this. I was hoping for something much more than what was in the first part. And then it became really sad.

- The plot is also kind of stupid. We went too far with technology. I played, ignoring what was happening. Just cut out the enemy and went through the next door. I was hoping to have some fun.

In general. The game came out much weaker than the previous part. This is upsetting. Although...considering the fact that CryTek demonstrates more of the engine's capabilities without bothering with the game, this may be forgivable. But figs there! Unforgivable! The first part shouldn't have been so good.

Although I am not a supporter of short reviews, there is simply nothing to write about here. We have what we have.

Good luck to you! Play good games!
