Crysis was a leap in technology at the time of its release (2007). Incredible graphics, amazing physics and your crying half-burning PC.
Crysis looks interesting, the lore is also interesting, but the gameplay... Crysis is one of the most boring games I've played, it only became interesting at the end when the aliens appeared, and the rest of the game is complete despondency.
The game set the bar well for other shooters in terms of graphics. For its time it seemed something unimaginable, the plot was of course so-so, but the customization of weapons was very compelling. Of course, the plot at first was compelling right up until the moment the aliens appeared. Driving the cars, well, let’s face it. .clumsy. The game has an atmosphere, but if they took the vector of just wars with people, and not aliens, it seems to me it would be better.. because after the first couple of missions the game turned into some kind of hentai with tentacles..

In general, my impressions are that if you were a fan of this game in 2007 and want to get nostalgic, then go ahead. But if you only decided to master it in 2019, don’t!
