The game is already quite old and many people know what it is, so instead of the usual review I want to share my brief history of joining this wonderful series.

My acquaintance with the series began precisely with the 2nd part. Before, I heard a lot about DS, but I never dared to try it, either because of the complexity that I constantly heard about then, or the opposite effect due to the overhype, when everyone was talking about it from everyone. In the end, on the recommendation of my friend, I decided to start with the second one, because... it seemed to be well ported to PC (and I was lucky enough to see the first “wonderful” port ^^), plus I heard that it was easier compared to the others in the series, and it was the cheapest of all the DLC))

When I just started... yes, my ass was burn… Read full

I've played 50+ hours so far, I think this is the best part for beginners and generally getting to know the great DARK SOULS series of games. Many different features were added that were not in the original and third parts, for example, the fact that mobs do not spawn after the 12th kill, many tricks for killing bosses, etc. Players also note that this is the best PVP in the entire series. Overall it's worth the purchase...

It's still the same Dark Souls, but only bigger.

If you can’t get through, no one will help you with this. You go to some bosses as if you were going to work and you get paid. After each death, you not only lose your humanity, but also 5% of your health bar, and so on up to 50%. As in the first part, defeating the boss is truly a victory.

There is no such thing as a plot here, only very deep lore.

At every step they want to deceive or kill. Dark Souls 2 takes you in droves.

The game makes you experience different emotions: the joy of victory, anger from defeat, hopelessness and much more. As in the first part, an ordinary ordinary enemy can hit you with lula, and in the second part they come in droves.

And the design of the locations is beautiful!!!

I played all 3 parts and I can say for sure that Dark Souls is one of the most magnificent games, no matter how old, difficult it is, the players love it and I know for sure that online in it will never drop to 0. I really liked this game since it’s complicated, it doesn’t even give you a chance to improve at first. I don’t know many games like this, you can count them on your fingers, but none of them can compare with Dark Souls. This game has a rather mysterious plot, I’ve been thinking about it for a couple of months what and how if you don’t take into account the fact that Dark Souls itself with all the additions, as well as Sekiro Shadow Die Twice, took another half a year. I recommend this passage to all fans of open worlds, as well as those who like to get on their nerves.

In my opinion this is the best part of the entire series! I didn’t go through it alone, graphics, gameplay, everything was at the highest level! Definitely a + in the collection of my best games.
