I started with part 2, then part 3, and then I got around to this one. I’ll say right away, in my opinion, I consider this part the WORST in the series (from 1-3, I haven’t gotten acquainted with demon souls). This game does not have a single advantage compared to subsequent parts. The bosses are primitive, the enemies are slow, the somersaults are poor (if the target is on target), adequate rolls are available when the character load is less than 25%, two slots for rings. And that's not all that can be noted. In general, the game is not difficult, the only difficulties can be caused by passing locations, if you overlooked some kind of fire, like me, then you can really sweat. And yes, until about the middle of the game you cannot move around the fires, and when you can, not at all. Despite the shortcomings I have listed, the game is generally good, but if you want to get acquainted with the souls series, I strongly recommend that you start with this part. And also, don’t hit NPCs, it’s not good.
