Good game. No, really. 10 out of 10. Best in the genre. Quite a minimalistic review, right? Then why did I give Souls such a low rating? Because this assessment is my pain and suffering during the game, constantly hitting me in the balls at the slightest mention and/or memory of them. In principle, you can skip the first 7 categories of assessment - there are only units there, albeit not deserved, but, as I already said, the assessment is my impressions during the game. You can ask me a question: why the hell did I choose a detailed assessment if there are continuous disadvantages here? And then I will answer: I don’t know. I just like all kinds of graphs. But I will really emphasize a couple of problems (points eight and nine). Well, the tenth point, perhaps the only ten in this review - a huge thank you to strangers, but such amazing people who helped me throughout the game, be it help in killing the boss or a banal note “there is a strong enemy here” or “there is a hiding place” . As many have already written, it is an AWESOME feeling when you overcome your own desire to throw the gamepad against the wall, take all your masculinity in your hands and DEFEAT THE BOSS, be it the relatively light Whirlwind, the furious Artorias or someone else. Many thanks to From Software for the amazing “stuffy” lore, the Librarium and CustomStories channels helped me figure it out, for which I also thank them very much. Also, a huge thank you to those same Froms for being desperate for such an experiment, albeit an ass-busting one, but still amazing. Thank you, Dark Souls. Thank you for existing.
