There was a moment when I became interested in fighting games and naturally the first thing I bought was “Mortal Kombat 9” (at that time), then Street Fighter, and then I noticed Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, after which DOA5 became for me the best game in this genre and this not because of the beautiful female characters, but it also adds a plus to the game.
DOA5 has a very rich combat system, with many combo attacks, which is divided into types - strike, parry and grab, where one beats the other (a strike - parry, against a parry - grab, and a faster strike - grab).
There are many interesting characters in the game and, be that as it may, male and female, approximately equally, or more precisely, 14 (m) by 21 (f), this is with six “invites”. I like almost all the characters, but my favorites are Brad Wong with his style from the movie “Drunken Master” and his charisma, as well as Honoka, who fights with a “mix”, i.e. her technique consists of many styles of other characters little by little, which creates a kind of fighting style of her own and she is cute.
What is also noteworthy is the dynamic environment, depending on the scene, during the battle you can break through walls, the floor with the enemy (or yourself), fall from stairs or jump off the same walls making blows. In general, chaos can occur during a battle.
The plot, let's say, is not bad, but it is presented easily, so that any dialogue leads to a fight, as in other fighting games, which is still logical, this is a fighting game. Everyone remembers the scene with Brad Wong the most, which parodies the moment in Kung Fu Panda with the dumpling).
