For me, DEAD SPACE is a game that I played after I completed the Resident Evil series - my friends recommended this horror game! At the time I played it, it was considered one of the scariest games. Now this is not a horror film, but flowers compared to the same Outlast or Slender! Yes! At first it’s a little scary, but then it just turns into a meat grinder in which you kill everyone left and right! There are pros and cons to the game
PROS:
Interesting atmosphere in the game. Alone on the ship, we walk from corner to corner, solving problems because of which we can’t get out of the space station. I liked the weapons and configuration of Isaac's suits. Cool map and inventory interface. At the time the game came out it was cool, and only now modern developers are picking up this cool design idea. Monsters! If you like the movie "Something" you will like the game! The creature is not so easy to kill - I played on super hard - I love the realism! There is no co-op in the game - it is only in the 3rd part. This game is probably more fun to play with a friend! Now about the cons!
CONS:
Optimization! I don’t know how it was developed....it feels like it was developed on consoles, and then just crookedly ported to PC! It’s very inconvenient to play with a rat! It feels like it's better to use a gamepad to play the game! It wasn’t convenient for me to aim with a rat, not like in the game... I even noticed the brakes in the menu, although the computer was not weak then! I don’t know if it can also be played on a joystick or not... I haven’t tried it!
