Instead of the system of caves and catacombs from the first part, we have vast expanses of desert, jungle, hellish wasteland, other dimensions and all that other stuff. Well, the catacombs and caves have not gone away either. The chamber plot of Diablo I has developed into a larger epic story. There are more heroes. In general, the game has become faster, higher, stronger, and on an industrial scale. I really liked the randomness of the game locations. I was also impressed by the synthesis of simplicity and depth of gameplay (it has nothing to do with the complexity of the game): the game is built, say, on a couple of buttons and a couple of objects, but what variability... It’s difficult to say whether there are people in the world who have at least once played games and don’t know what Diablo is. This is the legendary continuation of the original game from Blizzard. The second part of the cult Diablo is an example when everything becomes more. More classes, more enemies, more bloody loot. And, of course, more areas for professional killing of monsters.
