Instead of the system of caves and catacombs from the first part, we have vast expanses of desert, jungle, hellish wasteland, other dimensions and all that other stuff. Well, the catacombs and caves have not gone away either. The chamber plot of Diablo I has developed into a larger epic story. There are more heroes. In general, the game has become faster, higher, stronger, and on an industrial scale. I really liked the randomness of the game locations. I was also impressed by the synthesis of simplicity and depth of gameplay (it has nothing to do with the complexity of the game): the game is built, say, on a couple of buttons and a couple of objects, but what variability...
